Clothing is an area, that has been unjustifiably neglected in the context of inclusive design yet is identified by disabled people as being crucial to their feelings of selfesteem. The history of ‘special needs’ clothing is that of the adaptation of existing styles for different conditions and body shapes with mixed results.
Such clothing could combine mainstream fashion aesthetics with the functional advantages of new materials and appeal to consumers across the spectrum of age and ability.

Carolien Ruijs provides personal clothing advice from head to toe with matching accessories based on your personality. After the workshop you will find out how clothes that suit you give you more energy and confidence and this is the real YOU!!!...not a makeover.
Carolien Ruijs studied fashion at the prestigious Arnhem Academy of Arts in the Netherlands. During her study she won several awards and did her internship in the U.S.A. More than10 years experienced in designing fashion collections (incl. MEXX). Her strenght is her knowledge and passion for fashion combined with a good judge of personality.
